Is BYOD right for your company?
In this episode Alfred and Frank talk about some popular, and sometimes controversial, topics around BYOD and CoIT (Consumerization of IT). We spend time identifying how you can look at providing IT as a service to your clients, or consumers of corporate resources. Also, why you should consider this thought process and if you are missing the boat by not considering BYOD for your company. Some of the key topics include:
- Data classification – Classifying the data contained on your network with regards to it’s sensitivity, i.e. High, Medium or Low business impact data. Data Classification Toolkit
- Persona identification – Identifying the types of users in your corporate environment i.e. office users, road warriors, HBI data consumers, etc.
- Management – Selecting a method of managing devices from domain joined, to workplace joined to un-joined devices using Microsoft Windows Intune, System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and more.
